Musette Bicycles & Coffee is a unique and quirky little coffee shop/bike shop/bike repair shop (we did say it’s quirky, right?), just off from Place de la Victoire. Walk away from the square down Cours de la Somme for a couple of minutes then it’s tucked away on your left.

It’s developed a reputation in the short time that it’s been open for its fantastic coffee and the laidback nature of the place. The little terrace out back is a beautiful spot for chilling in the middle of the city, reminiscent of the little coffee shops on the backstreets of London or Melbourne.

The cool coffee shop influence of these coffee capitals stretches to their menu too. The food is light– much of it organic- as is the beer they serve, made locally at Darwin. The scrumptious cakes are homemade!

Why Musette?

This English-American duo settled on this name for its association with professional cycling; it’s the shoulder bag handed to a racer with what he needs to stay hydrated and keep going. It couldn’t be more apt.

It’s a great place to meet up with mates, chill out or get your head down for some work.
